Last post for 2019

Hi Everyone,

Well, here we are at the last post for the year and we’re counting down til Christmas.

Many thanks indeed for reading, writing lovely comments, and getting excited about my book. Zero Waste Sewing will be published in just under 3 months, and before then I’ll be show-and-telling more projects in the book, introducing a blog tour and sewing some new versions of the patterns.

If you’re in need of a holiday sewing project, here’s some ideas from the Craft of Clothes archive:

Free Pattern Crafting Christmas deccys other trees
Craft yourself some Chrissy decorations. Just the thing for sitting out a December 4-days-over-40 heatwave (or snowstorm, for northern hemisphere readers).
Free pattern Large beach bag carried by Liz
Whip up a large beach bag for….well, going to the beach (or transporting your ski gear, northern hemisphere people).
water bottle holder
Make a water bottle holder from this pattern in the December 2019 newsletter. (Need I mention this pattern also works well for flasks of hot chocolate?)
If you don’t already receive my monthly newsletter, sign up and get a free pattern for a backpack made from recycled denim.

I’ll be back on this blog sometime in January. I hope you have a relaxing Christmas and holidays.

Cheers!
