My singularly favourite piece of clothing is a white carton tunic knee length trimmed in black and white striped piping with one embroidered, small red star on the upper left side. I wear it very sparingly because I don’t want to ever be without it. It was given to me by my aunt as a gift when I was 40 prior to having surgery. I am now 73 it is still immaculate. I think I have washed it, maybe only two or three times when I die, I want to be buried in it, I would give anything to have one more of this exact garment I’m always looking, but I’m sure my chances are non-existent. Clovis Ruffin was a true genius who died much too young.

Many thanks for sharing this. Yes, he did some really great designs and it’s a tragedy he died so young.
