Hi All!  The school holidays start today and this blog will be on holidays too until January.  Thank you for reading my blog and keeping me encouraged!

Why not subscribe and get a notification of each new post, including the first one for 2017.  I post weekly on Mondays (but sometimes Sundays, or occasionally Tuesdays).

Do you make New Years Resolutions?  I don’t really have any New Years Sewing Resolutions of the “turn over a new leaf” sort, but next year I would really like to:

• Do Me-Made May for the first time and try Instagram.
• Work harder to teach myself CAD pattern drafting.  I was trained and only ever worked as a manual patternmaker.  This old dog is finding the switch a difficult new trick (it seems so clunky and slow!) but will persevere.
• Spend some time developing Zero-waste patterns.
• Continue independent reviews of books and exhibitions and anything else that interests me and may interest you too.
