Wrapping Up Me Made May 2025

May is over, and another Me Made May is finished.
This was the ninth time I’ve done this wardrobe challenge, and to my surprise it was the most fun one yet. It’s easy to get a bit jaded if you do this every year, especially if you wear me-mades every day.
My pledge was:
1. Choose one item to wear for the whole week, styled with different things, aiming for comfort, fun and variety.
2. Make a list of sewing UFOs (UnFinished Objects) and tackle at least three to be incorporated in MMM outfits.
The approach was to choose a garment which I either don’t wear or was stuck in a rut with wearing with the same old things. I wore the garment in question until it was ready for the wash (3-5 days usually). This worked really well – highly recommend for future MMM.
Here’s a recap of the month’s outfits. You can easily see which was the garment. I also did several days experimenting with wearing denim-with-denim.

Cheers!
A great challenge! Fun to see your pictures, thanks Liz.
Thanks Susan!
I can tell where the weekends fall due to the guest appearances of Steve and/or Marjorie! Double chicken in one photo; following on from the double denim successes?
I enjoyed your photos and comments as usual.
Yes, an attempt at double chicken but they were happiest on my lap. They are Marjorie and Muffin, the two grande dames of our little flock and long retired from egg laying 🙂
