Last post for 2017

Hello All,

School holidays officially started yesyerday and this blog is now on holidays too.

The summer stretches endlessly before us, to be filled with all sorts of wholesome things, such as afternoons at home playing lego, craft, swimming lessons, bike rides, visits to the library, picking fruit, having friends over to play etc.  My children (aged 6.5 and 9) have asked to have some sewing lessons from me during the holidays.  As you can imagine, this brings a certain joy to my heart!

Many thanks for reading my blog.  It’s a funny sort of feeling writing each week to unknown readers, but it makes me happy to think of you reading.  Your interesting comments encouraged and inspired me.

It has been a big year, finally publishing The Dressmaker’s Companion.  If you bought a copy, I thank you and hope you found something useful in it.  If you enjoyed it, please feel free to leave a positive review at patternreview.com, goodreads.com or amazon.com.

I’ll be back here somewhere towards the end of January.  Best wishes for your Christmas and holidays.

Cheers!

Dearest Liz your passion for all things textile has been realised, culminating in the publishing of ‘the dressmakers companion’. What a thrill. Congratulations and love to you and yours !
